Our NExT v2 is an advanced implant for biohackers that combines two chips in one glass enclosure: a 13.56 MHz NFC chip (NTAG I²C) and a 125 kHz RFID chip (T5577). It also includes an integrated LED that lights up when the NFC chip is scanned by compatible readers.
What you can do with it:
- Store & share data via NFC (e.g. URLs, business cards)
- Trigger smartphone events (e.g. open apps)
- Use with compatible RFID access systems
- LED light effect as a visual highlight during activation
Important: The NExT v2 is not suitable for payment functions, GPS, or tracking.

Implantation Site & Use
The recommended implantation area is between the thumb and index finger. This allows optimal accessibility for access systems or NFC interactions. The LED lights up with sufficient energy – a real eye-catcher at tech events or as subtle visual feedback.

Readability Tips
Read range depends on the device. Position your smartphone or reader at the optimal spot (“sweet spot”) to reliably detect the chips. The included x-Field Detector helps you find these points.
