Cancellation Policy


Returns – Step by Step

Ideally, you don’t want to, but unfortunately, you need to return something. Within the first 14 days after receiving your order, you have the option to return the product.

The product must be unused and in its original packaging (packaging undamaged and labels still attached, etc.). If a product has clearly been used, we reserve the right to refuse the return.


Step 1. Notify us / Declare your cancellation
Let us know who you are, your order number, and that you want to cancel the order.

Step 2. Review
We will review your cancellation and provide you with an RMA number (we cannot process your return without this number). Returns sent to our company address without authorization cannot be accepted.

Step 3. Ship your return
After receiving the RMA number and the return address, you can ship your package via drop-off points or stations from DHL, DPD, or Hermes. Please keep the return receipt with the tracking number until we confirm your return. You may also create a shipping label online to potentially benefit from the carriers' online prices.

Important: Be sure to request the RMA number before returning. Returns without an RMA number cannot be processed and will be returned to the customer at their expense. 

Step 4. Receive refund
Once you see in the tracking that we have received your return, please allow up to 14 days for us to check and process the refund.

If you'd like a different size or version, we recommend placing a new order directly through our website. This way, you can see current availability and improve your chances of getting the desired item.


Right of Cancellation

Cancellation Policy

Consumers have a right of cancellation under the following terms, where a consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly neither commercial nor self-employed:

The customer has the right to cancel the purchase agreement within fourteen days. The cancellation period is fourteen days from the day you or a third party designated by you, who is not the carrier, took possession of the goods. To exercise the right of cancellation, you must inform us (Upgraded Humans, Bocksberg 30b, 22395 Hamburg, Germany) of your decision to cancel this contract by means of a clear statement (e.g., a letter sent by post or an email).
Please note that returns without an RMA number will not be processed and will be refused. The customer bears the return shipping costs.

Consequences of Cancellation

If you cancel this contract, we will refund all payments received from you no later than 14 days from the day the returned goods arrive with us. For the refund, we use the same payment method you used in the original transaction (except for cash on delivery), unless expressly agreed otherwise; you will not be charged any fees for this refund. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods (including original packaging) back in full or until you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever is earlier. You must return or hand over the goods to us without delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the day you informed us about the cancellation of this contract. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the 14-day period has expired. The customer bears the direct cost of returning the goods. Please do not send returns without postage paid. Unpaid returns incur costs of more than €19 via DHL, and if such a return is sent back to the sender due to refusal of acceptance, the sender will be charged €25.

Exclusion of the Right of Cancellation

The right of cancellation does not apply, unless otherwise agreed by the parties, to the following contracts: 

- Contracts for the supply of goods that are not prefabricated and for which an individual choice or determination by the consumer is essential or which are clearly tailored to the consumer's personal needs. 

- Contracts for the delivery of goods that can spoil quickly or whose expiration date would be quickly exceeded, 

- Contracts for the delivery of sealed goods which are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene (e.g., plasters, opened food, opened supplements, opened implants, used shower cartridges, opened sleep masks, opened vaporizers, etc.), 

- Contracts for the delivery of so-called microchip implants if the sterile packaging has been opened or if they have already been activated for use or linked to a user account, or if they are not suitable for the intended purpose or do not function as desired (we therefore strongly recommend obtaining comprehensive information on our platform, in our guides, or in specialized forums (e.g., forum.dangerousthings.com) before purchasing), 

- Contracts for the supply of digital content such as audio or video recordings or computer software in a sealed package if the seal has been removed after delivery or if downloaded from the shop (e.g., eBooks, PDFs, digital online content), 

- Contracts for the delivery of so-called research chemicals or products purchased for research purposes and/or which produce individual results in their “use,” 

- Contracts for the delivery of goods that, due to their nature, are inseparably mixed with other goods after delivery, 

- Contracts for the delivery of goods whose price depends on fluctuations in the financial market that the entrepreneur cannot control and that may occur during the cancellation period. The right of cancellation does not apply to consumers who, at the time the contract is concluded, do not belong to a member state of the European Union and whose sole place of residence and delivery address at the time of contract conclusion is outside the European Union. Furthermore, please note that persons who are not consumers within the meaning of § 13 BGB have no right of cancellation for the purchased goods. 

In addition, returns are not accepted in the following cases: - the goods or packaging are in poor condition, - the goods are incomplete, missing accessories, or are damaged and/or broken, - instructions for use or other documents are missing, - the 14-day return period has expired, - the goods are on sale (only regular-priced items are refundable), - the customer is responsible for any loss in value of the goods if this loss in value is due to handling that was not necessary to examine the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods. Partial returns are not permitted.
