The chip is housed in a biocompatible glass cylinder and is simply inserted under the first layer of skin between the thumb and index finger. When done properly, the entire process takes less than 5 seconds and is painless.

Its small size (2 × 12 mm) and biocompatibility ensure that the body fully accepts the implant, that there are no issues at airport security checkpoints, and that it remains completely safe and readily available under the skin at all times.

The chip is inside the needle of the syringe – preloaded and ready. If you remove the cap or check whether a chip is inside, the syringe becomes unsterile. We expressly warn against this as well. The chip cannot be seen from the outside, and a smartphone cannot establish contact with the chip because the needle blocks the signals. This is normal and not a reason to assume the chip is defective or similar.
