flexEM T5577 Implant
Product information "flexEM T5577 Implant"
The flexEM is one of our next-generation 125kHz RFID transponders with high performance and a T5577 chip inside.
The T5577 is an emulator that can behave like many different common low-frequency chip types, including EM41xx, EM4200, HID 1326 ProxCard II, HID 1346 ProxCard III, Indala, Pyramid, Viking, AMV, Presco (and others) access cards and key fobs. It is compatible with many inexpensive OEM and commercial low-frequency RFID readers and standalone access controllers like our xEM Access Controller.
The flexEM is coated with a biopolymer tested according to USP Class VI, ISO 10993, giving it an extremely thin profile and a semi-flexible structure suitable for installation almost anywhere. They are delivered in small sealed plastic tubes with chlorhexidine solution.
The performance and range of the flexEM compared to the xEM is significant.

Important information about the flexEM
-
The biopolymer is tested and certified according to ISO 10993 and USP Class IV. However, the final product has not been tested after processing, meaning that material changes during processing could make the final product unsafe.
- There is no "preferred" location for the installation of a flex implant. Customers are free to install a flex implant anywhere on the body where the installer feels comfortable, as long as it is placed in the fascia layer between the dermis and muscle tissue and not in a bending area or under a gripping surface. Even though we use images suggesting installation above the second metacarpal bone of a finger, this is not an ideal location for such an implant. Fingers are filled with tendons, nerve bundles, and other very important things all packed into a small space. We strongly urge you to consider easier areas like the back of the hand or the arm/wrist.
Notes on professional installation
The installation of a flexEM device should always be performed by a professional! Specialized "professionals" are called "BodyModders." You can find them in the guide section.
