The xAC – RFID Access Controller for xEM & NeXT
Looking for a simple, reliable solution to control access to your home, office, or private areas? The xAC (Version 2) is a standalone RFID access system designed for use with xEM and NeXT implants or tags. Once set up, you’ll never need a key or card again.
What can the xAC do?
- Built-in 125 kHz RFID reader (EM41xx/EM42xx compatible)
- Relay output (configurable pulse duration: 1 or 5 seconds)
- Internal memory for up to 50 authorized tag IDs
- Fully standalone – no PC or microcontroller required
- Program master tags for adding and removing users
Technical Details
- Operating voltage: 9 V to 12 V DC
- Power consumption: approx. 60 mA idle, 102 mA with active relay
- Relay outputs: COM (white), NO (yellow), NC (green)
- Relay triggers when an authorized tag is scanned
- Master tag setup via jumper (S2) and RFID scanning
How it works
- Program two master tags: one for "Add", one for "Clear"
- Add tags using the "Add Master" tag
- Remove individual or all tags using the "Clear Master" tag
- Wiring: White = COM, Yellow = NO, Green = NC
