The Serotonin Formula
- L-Tryptophan: An essential amino acid that the body cannot produce and must be obtained through diet. L-Tryptophan is a precursor to serotonin; it is first converted into 5-HTP and then into serotonin.
- Vitamin B3 (Niacinamide): The vitamin for the brain, skin, and gut. It releases energy from fats, carbohydrates, and proteins and significantly contributes to energy levels—especially for mental performance and overall well-being.
- Magnesium (Magnesium Glycinate): Important for the nervous system. Magnesium glycinate is produced with the help of the amino acid glycine. Magnesium is a cofactor for serotonin.
- Zinc (Zinc Glycinate): Supports the immune system, cell division process, and regeneration. It assists in the breakdown and buildup of carbohydrates, fatty acids, and proteins.
- Rhodiola (Rhodiola rosea): A traditional plant used in herbal medicine. It is particularly found in Northern Europe and Central Asia.
Take a maximum of two Serotonin capsules with meals per day. Avoid taking in the evening.
