Option A:
You don't have a digital lock yet
Required components:
- Implant: xNT, NExT, flexNT, xDF3 or xSIID
- Lock cylinder: E204
- Accessories: Mounting tool, programming card
- Optional: KeyFobs for family or guests
Difficulty level:
Low – setup is beginner-friendly and comes with a step-by-step guide.

Option B:
You already have a digital lock cylinder
What you should check:
- Check RFID standard: Find out which RFID protocol your lock uses (e.g. 13.56 MHz, ISO14443A, etc.).
- Select a compatible implant: The implant must be technically compatible with the lock system.
- Test range & readability: Does the scan work through your skin? This depends on:
- Transmission power of the lock
- Battery level
- Position & depth of the implant
- Skin thickness & temperature
Difficulty level:
Medium – you’ll need some technical understanding and ideally some prior experience with RFID systems.
