Option A: The Same Password Every Time
Ideal for home or your personal workspace: simply attach the reader discreetly under your desk with double‑sided tape – done.
Required Products:
Setup:
- Step 1: Connect the reader via USB
- Step 2: Open “TextEdit” (Mac) or “Notepad” (Windows)
- Step 3: Place your hand with the implant on the reader and display your UID in the editor
- Step 4: Copy the UID from the editor and set it as your password

Option B: Frequently Changing Passwords
Some employers require that the password used to unlock your computer be changed every few months. With the solution shown in Option A, this isn’t practical. In this case, you need a “smart” reader that can easily adapt to new passwords.
