Typical questions about RFID NFC implants
In lively exchange with our customers, we have summarized the most important questions about microchip implants in this article:
(1) Can you be tracked with an RFID-NFC implant?
NO, the chip in the implant cannot be located. Since it is a transmission technology for a short radio distance of a few centimeters, location is not technically possible.
(2) Does the chip or implant have a GPS function?
NO, the chip does not have a GPS function. It is a purely passive chip for short radio distances.
(3) How to replace the battery?
NOT AT ALL, because the chip does not require a battery. The chip is purely passive and is activated by induction for the duration of the transmission.
(4) What kind of data is on the chip?
NONE at the time of delivery. You decide what you want to use the implant for and what data you want to transfer to the chip and when.
(5) How much data fits on the chip?
Most chips in RFID-NFC implants have a storage space of 888 bytes. However, there is also the flexDF, for example, with ten times as much storage.
(6) What can you do with RFID-NFC implants?
There are already numerous possible applications for RFID-NFC implants/chips.
As a modern security system, appropriately equipped doors or the car can be opened without having to use the key.
Even more everyday, the chip can be conveniently loaded with information or routine instructions via the smartphone, which are read or triggered when activated via NFC, e.g.:
- Saving short texts, URLs to websites, social networks or videos, contact details as business cards, telephone numbers, GPS data, addresses, ...
- Trigger cell phone functions, change the ringtone volume, start apps, activate the alarm, switch to flight mode or car mode, ...

(7) How can I play the chip?
The chip in the NFC implant can be used with any NFC-enabled smartphone.
(8) Is the chip compatible with Android? Or even with Apple?
YES, almost all Android smartphones or tablets are now equipped with an NFC interface and the new iPhones can now read it.
(9) How does the RFID-NFC implant get into my body?
Our implants are so easy, quick and painless to insert that virtually any piercer can do it. We are also happy to carry out the insertion.
(10) Where can I buy the RFID-NFC implant?
The implant including the application syringe can be easily purchased through our online shop at www.upgraded-humans.com. We also offer other additional products for the use of the implants.
(11) Can the implant be removed?
YES, the implant can be removed by any doctor or piercer. Only a small cut (1mm) is necessary and the implant can then be easily pushed out. Look here
(12) Can you pay with an implant?
YES, but only with the NxtPay. All other implants do not have a chip type that would allow payments. And no, your bank card cannot be copied onto it. That would be illegal.
