NxtPay is based on the VIMPay Go Prepaid Mastercard – one of Europe’s most flexible and secure payment methods. Integrated into a tiny NFC implant, you get full functionality – without plastic, without a wallet, without limits.

Whether at a supermarket in Berlin or a café in Lisbon: with NxtPay, you can pay anywhere Mastercard contactless is accepted. No blocked payments, no foreign transaction limits.

Your implant is connected via the free app. There you can flexibly top up your balance, monitor transactions in real time, and set your own limits. You decide how much money you want to keep on your chip.
👉 Withdraw cash easily via NFC
Even cash withdrawals are possible with NxtPay – at any NFC-enabled ATM. No plastic card required.
👉 High-tech security – in your hand
You can deactivate your implant at any time or put it into “sleep mode”. You can also block individual functions, such as geoblocking or cash withdrawals. Higher amounts (>25 €) are automatically secured with a PIN.
👉 Bank-independent & flexible
NxtPay works with almost all German and Austrian banks and savings banks. You do not need a new bank account.
👉 Extremely compact – invisible under the skin
The implant is as thin as a postage stamp and is inserted under the skin, for example between the thumb and index finger – optionally with EMLA cream or lidocaine. No battery. No charging. No technical maintenance.

CARDS & APP
Not directly. You preload funds from your bank account using the app. You can only pay with your NxtPay if your VIMPay account has enough balance. There are two ways to top up your account: 1. Instant top-up (if supported by your bank) 2. Manual SEPA bank transfer. NxtPay is linked to your registered reference account.
Just like any bank card, payments will stop working after the expiration date. You can keep it implanted for other purposes (e.g., access control), or upgrade to a new NxtPay or the NxtPay-Infinity.
Yes. You can change your bank account in the app at any time and update your payment settings.
SHIPPING
Each NxtPay is custom-made. If in stock, we ship the next day. Otherwise, delivery takes 2–5 business days after production – depending on pre-order volume.

Every bodymodder/ piercer will charge a different sum. It should be close to installing a "dermal anchor". In Germany you can expect something between 50 und 100 EUR. But hey... we are not the piercer.
Installation
It’s very simple. Like an x-Series implant ("rice grain in a syringe"), a small tunnel is created with the provided needle, and the NxtPay is inserted. Cover with a bandage – done.
A professional bodymodder, piercer or doctor. We provide a detailed guide you can hand over to your practitioner. You can find a list of experienced partners in our Implant Guide (Start Here > Implants > Implantation). If none are near you, check with local studios.
No strict rules. Popular spots: – Back of the hand (between thumb and index finger) – General hand area – Inner forearm above the wrist Avoid areas under constant pressure or with jewelry.
Only if you play with it. Leave it alone for the first few weeks and the tissue will naturally encapsulate it with collagen – locking it in place.
