Part 1: Getting Started with Your NxtPay-Infinity

Before using your NxtPay-Infinity, you should first activate and test it.

To do this, you need to link your Mastercard or Visa card. You have three options:

  1. Indirectly via Curve
  2. Direct connection with a supported bank
  3. Via VIMpay (prepaid method)

1. Using Curve

  • Curve is currently the most popular option – most users choose this method.
  • It allows you to connect any Visa or Mastercard (credit or debit) to your NxtPay-Infinity – completely free.
  • Major benefit: You can manage multiple cards at once and even retroactively switch payment sources using the “Go Back in Time” function.
  • Curve is an app that creates a virtual card linked to your real card. This virtual card is what gets linked to your NxtPay-Infinity – everything is managed via the Curve app.

2. Direct connection with a supported bank card

  • If your bank is officially supported, you can connect your card directly to your NxtPay-Infinity – no Curve or VIMpay needed.
  • You can find the full list of supported banks HERE. Please check whether your bank is included.


3. Using VIMpay (Prepaid Method)

  • VIMpay is ideal if you don’t have a credit or debit card – for example, if you only have an EC/Girocard or want to keep tight control over your balance.
  • VIMpay gives you a virtual prepaid card. Simply load it with credit and start using it immediately.


Once you know which method you'd like to use, the next pages will guide you step by step through the setup process.

Enjoy your NxtPay-Infinity – seamless payments at your fingertips!

Option 1: Your bank is not directly supported – you’ll need the “Curve” app.

With Curve, you can link any Visa or Mastercard to your NxtPay-Infinity. Every payment you make with your implant will then be automatically charged to the credit card you’ve connected via Curve.

Step 1: App Installation

First, download the Curve app to manage and use your implant:

Step 2: App Registration

Open the Curve app (available in English only). Then follow these steps:

  • Select your country
  • Enter your mobile number
  • Confirm the code received via SMS
  • Enter your email address
  • Set a four-digit app access code

Step 3: Personal Information

Enter your first name, last name, date of birth (exactly as shown on your ID), and your address.

You will then be asked about your employment status. If you prefer not to specify, simply choose the option “Other”.

Step 4: Add Your Credit Card

Add your existing Visa or Mastercard by clicking “Link your first card” and entering your card details.

Depending on your bank, you may then be redirected to verify via TAN or banking app.

Step 5: Identity Verification (legally required)

Upload a photo of your ID – both front and back of your National Identity Card or your passport are required.

Then take a selfie so Curve can confirm your identity.

Verification usually takes less than a minute.

Step 6: Select Curve card

Select the free standard card (far left). 

Confirm the payment details. 

Your virtual Curve credit card is now active.


Step 7: Retrieve card details

Now you need the card details for your new virtual Curve credit card. 

Open the Curve app, click on ‘Account’ at the bottom right > (skip the tutorial) and find ‘Card Details’ at the top left. 

There you will find the card number, expiration date and CVC. Note or copy this data (temporarily).

8: Link NxtPay-Infinity to Your Virtual Card

Now switch to Option 2 in the manual and follow the step-by-step process using Fidesmo.

This will securely link the virtual credit card you previously created in the Curve app with your NxtPay-Infinity implant.

The connection process with Fidesmo is simple, secure, and completed in just a few minutes.

Once linked successfully, your payment implant is ready to use – no wallet, no cables, usable worldwide.

Option 2: Your card is directly supported / virtual Curve card already exists - you can connect your card directly to the NxtPay Infinity (via Fidesmo)

Instructions: Connect your credit card with NxtPay-Infinity directly

1. Requirements

Before you get started, you need the Fidesmo App. Download it from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android), open it, and click “CONNECT”.

2. Connect NxtPay-Infinity to Your Smartphone

iPhone:

Hold the NxtPay-Infinity steadily against the top edge on the back of your iPhone.

Android:

Locate the NFC antenna on the back of your device (usually in the center). Hold the NxtPay-Infinity against it.

If the connection is successful, you will be prompted to add a card (“Connect a service”).

3. Add your credit card

  1. Tap on "Connect a Service"
  2. Then select "Connect Card"
  3. Tap "Next" in the bottom right corner
  4. Enter your email address
  5. Enter your credit card number
    This only works with directly supported banks or with a virtual card via VIMpay or Curve.
  6. Enter the expiration date and the security code (CVC/CVV)
  7. Tap "Next"
  8. Accept the Terms and Conditions
  9. You will be prompted again to hold your NxtPay-Infinity ("wearable") to your smartphone

The signal works much better without a phone case!

On iPhones, this step may need to be repeated several times. On Android devices, it usually works automatically.

4. Verification via SMS

  1. Tap on "RECEIVE SMS CODE ON …."
  2. Enter the received activation code
  3. Tap on "Next"
  4. If you don't receive a code: tap "Resend code"
  5. Tap on "Done"

Your NxtPay-Infinity is now linked to your credit card!

5. Pause the Payment Function (Snooze Mode)

  1. Open the Fidesmo app
  2. Tap on "Snooze payment function"
  3. Tap on "Continue"
  4. Enter the email address you used during your order
  5. Your payment function is now paused

To reactivate the payment function:

  1. Tap again on "Snooze payment function"
  2. Tap on "Next"
  3. Enter your email address again
  4. Done – your implant is now active again

6. Add a New Card (Remove Old Card) – in case your old card has expired…

  1. ⚠️ Do NOT delete the card using the trash icon in the top right corner!
  2. Instead, tap directly on the saved card
  3. Select "Remove card"
  4. Tap "NEXT" in the bottom right corner
  5. Enter the same email address used during your original order
  6. Tap "Remove card"
  7. Tap "Yes" (you obviously have your NxtPay-Infinity ready), then tap "Connect"
  8. Hold your NxtPay-Infinity against your smartphone
    • iPhone: top edge
    • Android: usually center back

The old card has now been removed – you can add a new one.

Option 3: Connect VIMpay with NxtPay-Infinity

In case you don't have a credit card

VIMpay gives you the advantage of creating a virtual prepaid card — perfect if you don’t have your own credit card. You stay in full control and can decide at any time how much balance is available on your NxtPay-Infinity.

📲 Getting Started with VIMpay – in 3 Easy Steps:

  1. Download the App:
    Download the VIMpay app from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store.
  2. Create Your Account:
    Open the app and register for free. Enter your first and last name (as shown on your ID), your mobile number, and a secure password.
    Optional: You can choose whether you want to receive promotional messages.
  3. Verify & Set Your PIN:
    You'll receive a confirmation code via SMS. Enter it to verify your number.
    Then set your app PIN (e.g. 1234 – but we recommend choosing a more secure code!).

⚠️ Important: To use VIMpay with your NxtPay implant, you need the VIMpay Standard version, not VIMpayGo or VIMpay Premium. Please make sure you select the correct version during setup!

Connect NxtPay-Infinity with VIMpay & Fidesmo

1. Activate FidesmoPay

➤ Open the VIMpay app
➤ Tap the “+” icon at the bottom
➤ Select “FidesmoPay”
➤ Click on “Set up wearable” → then tap “Got it”


2. View Card Details

  1. You will see two cards: Main Card (orange) & FidesmoPay Card (pink)
  2. Long-press on the FidesmoPay Card to display card number & expiry date
  3. Swipe right → CVC becomes visible
  4. Swipe left → PIN becomes visible


3. Connect to FidesmoPay

  1. Click on “Connect to FidesmoPay”
  2. Enter the email address you used to register with the VIMpay app
  3. Enter the details of your FidesmoPay card (do not use any other card!)
  4. Accept the terms and conditions


4. Top Up Your VIMpay Account

⚠️ You must top up your account before you can activate your NxtPay-Infinity.

  1. Tap the “+ Top Up” icon in the orange VIMpay section
  2. Select the desired amount
  3. If needed, enter your IBAN (“Bank not found”)
  4. Transfer the amount to the IBAN shown
  5. Confirm in the app by tapping “I’ve transferred”
  6. The balance will usually appear within 2–3 business days

Note: The first SEPA transfer is limited to €100. Once confirmed, you can top up without limits.


5. Complete the Setup

✅ Once connected successfully: Make one or two test transactions using your NxtPay-Infinity implant.
Only then should you proceed to the next setup step.

Part 2: Implantation of Your Device

📍 1. Schedule an Appointment with a Piercer

An experienced piercer or body modification specialist should be able to implant your device professionally.
If you don’t know a provider nearby, check our Partner Map. There you’ll find many studios with experience in flexible implants.


📌 2. Choosing the Right Implant Location

We recommend placing the implant about 2 cm above the wrist on the inner forearm.
⚠️ Important: The edge of the hand is not a suitable location for implantation!


💉 3. Local Anesthesia for Comfort

If your piercer cannot or does not wish to inject Lidocaine, you can get EMLA cream or a similar topical anesthetic from the pharmacy.
Apply it to the designated area about 1 hour before the procedure as instructed – this will greatly reduce sensitivity and ensure a more comfortable experience.

Part 3: Legal information

The NxtPay-Infinity is a special technical product - innovative, sensitive and unique. Please read the following information carefully before using it or having it implanted:


Packaging & Sterility

Like all our flex implants, the NxtPay-Infinity is supplied in sterile packaging. This packaging is deliberately designed to be light and permeable so that the sterilization process reliably reaches the contents. It is normal for the packaging to be sensitive and for oils or particles to become visible when touched.

A date printed on the packaging does not indicate the validity of the chip (it has none), but only how long the packaging is sterile.

Please only open the packaging when you really want to use the NxtPay Infinity.


Functionality & Responsibility

Every implant is tested and technically approved by us. No delivery will be made without successful testing.

Nevertheless, payment is complex. POS systems worldwide can use different technologies. Older devices in particular may not be compatible with the NxtPay Infinity. This is beyond our control.

The NxtPay Infinity does not require its own power source and is wear-free. If it works during the first test (which we guarantee before delivery), it will remain functional - provided no external influences damage the technology.

You are therefore responsible for protecting your NxtPay Infinity from:

  • mechanical stress (shocks, pressure, etc.)
  • thermal effects (heat, cold)
  • chemical substances
  • magnetic fields, etc.

to protect.


The choice of implantation site in your body and the use of the device are at your own risk. Please bear in mind that legal or technical changes (e.g. by providers such as VimPay, Fidesmo or Curve, over which we have no influence anyway) can also lead to functional changes or restrictions.

This means that if your NxtPay Infinity suddenly stops working, this does not constitute grounds for a refund, compensation or replacement!

  • have read and understood the instructions for use,
  • accept the safety and legal information in our General Terms and Conditions (§§ 10a & 11a),
  • and have independently tested the functionality before implantation.

We accept no liability for the type, location or execution of the implantation or for possible late effects. Our recommendation: Test your NxtPay Infinity thoroughly before using it permanently.
