The TrueDark Sunsets™ Aviator combines the distinctive red-to-yellow gradient lenses of the Sunsets™ series with a classic aviator silhouette and a lightweight matte-black stainless-steel frame.

Red-to-Yellow Gradient Instead of Fully Red Lenses

Sunsets™ Aviator uses a carefully designed lens gradient. The darker red upper section provides stronger filtering of light coming from overhead lighting and other elevated light sources. The lighter yellow lower section allows more light to pass through, helping maintain visual orientation during everyday evening activities.

The result is a practical middle ground between conventional blue-light-filtering glasses and heavily filtered, fully red lenses designed for later in the evening.

Classic Aviator Design with a Stainless-Steel Frame

The Aviator version features a larger, distinctive lens shape combined with a lightweight matte-black stainless-steel frame. It combines the technical function of dedicated blue-light-filtering eyewear with the timeless look of classic aviator glasses.

The lenses are made from scratch-resistant polycarbonate and feature an anti-reflective coating. According to TrueDark, the polarized lenses also help reduce distracting reflections.
